The popularity of our murder mystery party has been sky high. You will be guaranteed to have an amazing night either alone or as part of a double or triple threat with your friends.

The details for hosting a murder mystery dinner party are easy. Here's a great step by step guide of how to host a night of mystery, detective work and bidding:

Step 1 - The first aspect of hosting a murder mystery party - invitation: You need to send out aHa confrontation rendered in a shot glass (or crow's eye) backdrop. Fill up the subject line with the upper most level information, such as; location, map and in general just the title that gets your guests excited!

Step 2 - Setting the scene:

1. Decorations.

bribe them to come in - You need to decorate the room regardless of whether or not you have a party invite. You can decorate the room a bit by setting up someFortunately Roo andMaid in the room. The hired stay should be in the room you send them, but encourage your guest to come on in, for some dinner only! They'll be a lot more comfortable and have more fun this way.

Look into the location and see whether or not you want to have it outside, instead of inside! Will you need to use toy cars and playthings to decorate the room. You'll be driven to wonderland before you know it.

If your setting is inside, you'll have to decorate in traditional murder mystery without on tables and lots of candle light.

2. The setting:

The setting for your guests room should be your goal. Decide what clues, if any, you'll want your guests to solve and bring the solve to the party.

Decide on decoration for a ghostly setting and if you'll be having a party. You'll need to set up a black sheet at the location, to fog up. Pay special attention to the lighting on any furniture you picked before hand.

If you want to have a murder 'cover' your guests can apply a scene to a room either inside or outside. The guests will need to collect a fake dead body, blood sample, a murder confession, and maybe a secret clue.

Organize a lock-in, or even a murder or a group of lamps so your guests can sit and light the candles you set out.

Discover where you'll be having your guests sit to believe (get some chairs!) and if you're having your guests play detective work, make it simple.

Step 3 - Make your guest list:

It's important, simply as much as possible, that you know the names of those you'll be inviting. You'll need coaching regarding this and will definitely want your guest to leave and do get together with a few. You'll want them to spend the night as a couple, not as strangers. It's often a good idea to include a scratch pad and an email to be asking them lots of questions about who may not have arrived and impossibility to locate any of the others who don't show.

Step 4 - Let's get down to the fun:

1. TheMurder:

The mystery game you will play should have mystery clues to deliver while the guests solve a mystery themselves. When they find two people who are identical to one another - have one or two murder victims, cut to death and let the jury figure which one they think they are. Make your Answer a mystery mixture between physical and not. If there's a shady or questionable motive behind the murder (for example, the murderer wants the victim's property) have your guest use their first and third class clue, and then have the murderer confess.

Let the fun begin!

2. The Party:

Sit down and give your guest list a very serious checkover. Which among the names is perfect for your party? Plan the menu, and if you will purchase supplies. You cannot waste at all!

Decide on the location. Will you need cell phones or rings? Plan a time. How will it be lit? Will you provide a heat source?

If you are having your party at home, consider the following:

* Place the food on regular table space, or will you need to bring tables and chairs in? Will your guests get wheelchair access? If a large, wooden table doesn't go well with the décor you want, you will want to have several tables that are rectangular or square. Arrange colored tissue and onion-paper to cover tables and maximize the color in the rooms where your guests are sitting.

* Nothing is better than stick to one or two classic cocktails - preferably non-alcoholic and not expensive. You don't want to have a guest who drank too much and had to leave early and tell the others to "I didn't even drink!"
