The rules to a murder mystery party will be the same as for any other mystery party, but the way the investigation is done will be different. Here are the steps you should make sure to follow so that every aspect of this murder mystery is completed and thoroughly investigated:

Step 1: Get the police report and conduct an early investigation.

The police report should include all information relevant to the investigation, from the suspect's identity to the method and means of murder.

Step 2: Investigate the police report.

Look at everything that is in the police report, including personal notes and descriptions given by the witnesses. These details are crucial to the whole investigation, so make sure you fully investigate every aspect of their backgrounds.

Step 3: Interview the witnesses.

Throughout the investigation you will have people who will testify against you, and you need to fully investigate their background. Have them talk to each other and keep notes so that connections can be made.

Step 4: Cope with the various suspects.

Treat all the suspects the same, so that each of them has something to say about the deceased. Keep their mouths gaped so that their clients can understand the implications of their missing persons. spot a suspect, or individuals, who is a obvious choice and get more information from them.

Step 5: Get a good description.

At the beginning of the investigation it is best to get a good description of the victim. Look for a body physical examination report where the examiner has recorded not only the body's sex and age, but more importantly, the cause of death.

Step 6: Test theSuspect.

If after thorough investigation and testimony by the witness(s) you are still not sure who killed the girl, then have a trial to decide who the murderer is. The deciding factors in a murder trial are often the "bystanders" who just happened to be present when the murder took place, or the driver of the getaway car. Get at least one of these reports and compare it with surveillance camera tapes and make an informed conclusion.

Step 7: Interview the Car Driver.

After the murder, the driver, or someone driving the getaway car, will often tell police that the person they saw look like the victim was wearing pants that were not in a pair with a top, or that the pants were blue, or that the top was like someone wearing a hat. Don't take these statements too literally, but consider them as rumors -- especially if you see on the internet or TV, or read up in the newspaper, that the person seen driving away from the scene was wearing a hat bearing the victim's initials or the name of the victim.

Step 8: Confirm or Try to Confirm.

If you still think the person is lying to you, and you refuse to take action, your reputation may suffer. If you follow this through, and include details that make it appear as if the person did not say what he/she claimed to have said, you can make things worse for the person lying. These things can play in the court record and can throw off your chances of obtaining a fair trial. Be willing to take these steps to ensure that justice is served.
