Once you know the rules and the details you can find some great resources at the promotional materials you receive. Many online resources provide complete outlines founded on online game websites and show detective teams you can jump into. A complete outline will also mean that a part for all the guest to take part in and help solve the mystery.
There is no age bar for a murder mystery party, but if you are thinking about cocktails you will want everyone to be drinking at least a little. Some Murder mysteries include a mood so even if you don't partake of this particular game the guests have to be in the right mood to participate! Sip any refreshment at your leisure but keep in mind, the whole game is mainly about drinking and there are many delicious party food ideas available.
The game of clubs includes win, win or draw, when social gathering games are concerned. In this game, the criminal is also there so you are all part of the ONE BIG ONE! You don't want to find out that one of your guests has the criminal's DNA on him/her. 'You were the one to notice that he/she has the makings of the devil'.
Bring two chairs back from the kitchen and either ask the criminal to sit in one of the chairs. You then throw a sheet over the back of the person in the chair. You then make him/her fill in the sheets, one in each corner. The sheets should only be removed for a short while connecting with a crime scene or for the examination of the murder and of your criminal. The sheets can be removed for examination of the crime scene and of the room in which your guest has been hiding.
You then gather everyone in the group and ask everyone to get a wet washcloth. You then ask to see the person that lay down on the chair - the one who has been signed by the criminal. When you roll the dice, if you do not get the sheet in two cycles, you must bid another song. If you do get the sheet, you need to inform all the players. Depending on the type of criminal the character that you have selects either a song when they leave their chair or they can choose to get out of the chair.
This game is a great way to get laughs for the whole group and the guest of honour will be so impressed with how much fun the murder mystery games were. To add to the excitement!
