The details of the murder are outlined so well that the police need to know who you are searching for. The key is to ensure your guests have a great time, and of course, not to irritate the wee mortals in the group. enario: The group are all at a particular location, perhaps a country club. Someone comes to pick up her car. As she is being driven away she stops and chats to the driver. He knows her, and the two get into an argument. He tries to end the argument on the side of the road, and when the gossip gets too deep, he discovers his error and approaches her to ask her what happened. She initially tries to hide the truth, claiming she had no idea who he was. He is able to use this fact to interrogate her further. Unfortunately for the driver, and fortunately for the victim, there is a camera right there and he gets his good guy. As the little girl is being interviewed by the police, the murder takes place. The vehicle in which she was riding gets completely destroyed in the median. The killer gets away. The body is found a little later, its legs and the neck have been cut and mutilated. It's not long before the perp knows that the deed is done, and he surrenders to justice. Thanks to the terrific work of the police department and the detectives who pursue leads, you now have a murder. But there is one little problem. The perp has confessed. It was all him. All those were the words that sunk into your brain. You are now to join an investigation team, and face your fear. Several years ago I had my own murder. I was an author and was to meet a number of people for dinner. I was sitting at a table with my book and a very pretty young woman. She was from Mexico and she was married. She asked me how I was and whether I had enjoyed my recent reading. I told her about a book that I had read and that was about a boy who accidentally killed his father. She informed me that the boy had confessed. I told her not to worry because he would be found guilty and would certainly be deported. She hoped that the boy would be able to continue to work and study. Three weeks later I was in the victim's home. The police had informed her that the victim's wife needed to come home because she had not shown up for three days. Caught without a password, she became very upset and became nearly distraught. I thought that she would tell the owner of the house that the death of her husband had taken place and that she wished she could come home. Unfortunately she did not make that phone call. I later found out that she had not made the call because she was afraid that the killer had treated her like a piece of meat. She was also promised that the killer had written a will leaving everything to the primary investigator. The police had also informed me that they had found a list of people attending that event. The list included the names of all the guests. It was lengthy, and the police were very careful to make sure that no one on the list was friends or had anything to do with the victim. The list also included the name of the restaurant where the party was being held. After extensive research, I began to realize that the victims description was very accurate. Also, the analysis of the blood group was also spot on. The peroxide levels showed that the killed person had to have been partially exposed to this powerful mixture. Additionally, the dating of the death, and the cause of death were also off. There were several pieces of evidence that pointed to the cook as being the culprit. But there was more to this story than just a pretty face. The wife needed to be eliminated because she was with the killer frequently and there was forensic evidence to show that the two were having an affair. At the same time, the wife's on the job side was also being considered. She was a registered nurse, and she treated the family's children, even taking care of the couple's youngest child. Finally, the killer's accomplices had to be confronted. They were the friends of the dead man. They were enjoying his many mistresses while he lived happily in their neighborhoods. These accomplices were superiors who took orders from him. They were well-to-do types who lived relatively comfortable lives. Then along came the detectives. Lillian Smith, the attractive hostess from Columbus. She was having an affair with one of the accomplices.
